A Gem for Filipino Food Lovers

The FOOD y’all. The PRICES. 10 huge delicious lumpia and a large pancit is $18 and change. I’m gonna be eating good for lunches this week! The pancit is so tasty and has a good amount of meat and veggies. I’ve only been here once before but I’m glad I remembered to review them this time. I want to get the bbq chicken next time because so watched it come off the grill fresh and it looked INCREDIBLE.

If you’re paying with card, they might not ask you to add on a tip when you go to pay, so I recommend bringing a few bucks cash to tip these folks for their delicious food and all their hard work.

A Must-Visit for Authentic Filipino Cuisine

Rated 5.0 out of 5

Authentic Filipino cuisine. Food selection does not normal change but there is a list of times for specific dishes. You can select from their ‘Hot and Ready’ menu or can order from the select from the menu board.

Food preparation is continuously going and never skipping a beat. There is always a line throughout the day, which is a good sign that the food is worth the wait. I applaud the staff for keeping up with demand while remain calm, welcoming and polite.

The line moves in an average rate so it helps to know what you want prior to getting to the front to prevent delay. If you do not know what the dish is called you can just simply point and ask.

Portion size! I usually get the Mini Combo with 1 entree and always have enough for left overs. To top it off they give a complimentary small side of soup (typically Sinigang).

This establishment is great for ‘grab and go’ style but do have seating available. Never had a problem with seating but it is limited.

Single restroom, you will need to ask for the keys.

Overall, great experience and highly recommend!

A Beloved Filipino Spot with a Bitter Price Hike

We go here often. We love it. The owner is super friendly.

However they just doubled the prices. The family meal I used to get was $48, now it is $75. I know prices have gotten crazy everywhere but I think this price increases was over board. We will still go, but probably not as often.

Exceptional Service and Heavenly Bistek

Rated 5.0 out of 5
July 29, 2023

I came in looking for bistek but they ran out. They told me there would be some cooked within the hour and so I ran some other errands, called them back and they said they had some out and ready! I drove back as soon as possible cause if you don’t already know, this particular ulam runs out fast cause its soo good! I got there and fell back into the long lunch line with my toddler and infant in tow, but the Tita’s and Ate’s serving the line were like “no we’re going to help her first cause she’s been waiting for this.” Thank you all. That was much appreciated because going anywhere with kids, especially standing in line with kids is the worst! Maraming salamat to you all for being so nice!

An Exquisite Filipino Delight in National City

Super delicious Filipino in National City. The long line is usually super awesome food, and we were right. Portion was huge (enough to feed 6 people in our humble opinion, or folks in San Diego can eat 6 portions of regukar folks in one serving ), and flavors are bold & yummy. Two thumbs up.

PS we also ordered Halo-halo, which we forgot to take a picture of, and it was also super good.
